More Green Washing "Social responsibility" (SR) missing the primary point ...

More Greenwashing
Corporations and Governments (SR) are missing the primary point and not dealing with the root causes of our ecological and economic crisis, that of overpopulation and artificial ignorance. The equivalent of one Hiroshima / Nagasaki, are dispatched daily off the planet, mostly youth, due to malnutrition and related issues. Children making children and then having to watch them wither and die. Since 1972 we have known that the only true global solution in terms of a return to "sustainability" is minus ZPG. We do have the media technology so that this can be achieved without violence in one generation, if we actually practice SR and not green washing. If we use the media to restore accurate knowledge of the birthright of ancestral indigenous wisdom, of the use of herbal birth control i.e.: emmenagogues.
The Virtual Free University Think Tank project working title, Procreating Ourselves to Death focuses on the dis-ease establishment suppression of information, about procreative and natural hygiene i.e.: disinformation about herbal birth control and anti-nutrients. In short, exposes the profiteering from human misery by media monopolies controlled by pharmaceutical drug cartels.
Lets get real when we talk about SR.

However, standards bodies such as ISO are regulatory agents that merely reflect the outcomes of prior decisions and understanding. To address them as if they are missing the point on root causes is reflective of your own pattern in a similar way. Standards bodies are in no position to effect change at the leverage points, they merely direct social traffic according to values selected from prior decisionmaking. It is all outcomes based, and unfortunately that’s what humans and their social forms are wired to take action on. All that aside, you do have to laud that there is at least some attempt to institutionalize humane values systems in published regulatory constraints. But they never intended this to be a solution – and they have no access to decisions at root causes. It’s unfair to take them to task for what’s outside their mission.
As per your suggestion we convened a structured dialogic design session in my OCAD systems course last spring and the local effects of global overpopulation was decided by the group as the most critical causal factor to address. However, they had real difficulty creating a set of distinctions that addressed further root causes. “What to do” is enormously contentious once people understand the gravity of overpopulation of the undereducated and unsupported poor. As always, like with Lehman Brothers, we humans just wait for things to crash once “true unsustainability” hits the wall.
Best to you brother, Peter

We are clear on the fact that these are just agents, but our "propaganda" is not about ISO, but about the issues so that there can be a dialogue ...we intend to get people to think ...like OCADU is now thinking about ZPG ...we have had the answers, about what to do about it, for decades and part of that is this dialogue ...taking the ISO to task is like taking the FCC and CRTC to task, it only opens the questions that need to be asked..."some attempt" is precisely what greenwashing is.
